Are you a numbers expert with a passion for construction? As a “Construction Cost Estimator” at Aquarius Caribbean, you play a key role in delivering challenging building projects. You analyze blueprints, calculate cost estimates, and prepare accurate quotes that ensure projects are delivered on budget and beyond expectations.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Analyze blueprints, specifications, and project documentation

  • Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects

  • Assess material, labor, and resource requirements

  • Maintain communication with suppliers and subcontractors to secure competitive pricing

  • Draft and present clear and accurate project proposals to clients

  • Identify opportunities for cost optimization without compromising quality

  • Collaborate with project managers, planners, and other team members to find the best solutions

What We’re Looking For:

  • A completed degree in a relevant field (e.g., Construction Management, Civil Engineering)

  • At least 2 years of experience as a cost estimator in the construction industry (preferred)

  • Strong analytical and numerical skills

  • Solid knowledge of construction materials, methods, and relevant software (e.g., AutoCAD or similar)

  • Detail-oriented, solution-focused, and an excellent communicator

  • A proactive attitude and the ability to work effectively in a team

  • Fluent in Dutch, English and preffered Papiamentu and Spanish
